CBSE

CBSE, an acronym for Central Board of Secondary Education is an educational board operated under the Union Government of India. As of this writing there are around 16424 schools affiliated to CBSE both in India and abroad. All the Kendriya Vidyalaya schools, all the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyala schools are affiliated to CBSE. Apart from these government schools, many private schools (both in India and abroad) are affiliated to CBSE. Thus it is one of the most popular curriculum available in India. All the CBSE schools are approved by the Government of India.

CBSE has two public examinations i.e. class 10 and class 10+2. These examinations are usually held in the month of March. With various new subjects introduced into the CBSE curriculum, these examinations will extend beyond March, especially for the class 10+2. The evaluation of answer papers completes by May and the final results will be out in May.

CBSE has very good curriculum covering various aspects of the subjects to a deeper level. CBSE books are considered to be the most useful books for the preparation of the crucial competitive examinations like IIT JEE.

Apart from the regular curriculum, CBSE board also conducts the APIMT examinations which entitles students to join in various prestigious medical institutions in India.
The CBSE curriculum covers various subjects ranging from languages, business, science, arts and handicrafts and is very versatile with respect to the number of subjects covered.
